At Broadgate Farm we know that dogs are part of the family which is why all of our cottages are dog friendly. Set near Beverley in the Yorkshire Wolds each cottage offers private, enclosed outdoor space and easy access to countryside walks right from your doorstep.
We welcome up to two dogs per cottage (up to labrador size) with up to three dogs allowed in High Barn. Just let us know in advance when booking.

To keep our cottages in great condition for all guests we ask that dogs are fully house trained, well behaved and over 10 months old. Please also keep you dog off the furniture and out of the bedrooms and bathrooms.
As we’re a working farm dogs should be kept on a lead around the grounds. We also ask that dogs are not left unattended unless crated and that owners clean up after them during their stay.
There are plenty of great walks nearby including public footpaths, woodland routes and open spaces like Beverley Westwood which is perfect for longer walks and fresh air.

Yes, all our cottages have private enclosed gardens. If your dog is a committed escape artist give us a ring and we can advise you about which cottages will have the most suitable gardens.
We ask that dogs are supervised at all times while in the cottage. This is so they do not become distressed in an unfamiliar environment and to mitigate the risk of damage to the property. We do allow dogs that are crate trained to be left in a crate while you are out, just please don’t leave them for too long.

We ask that dogs aren’t allowed on sofas or beds. We also ask that you bring your pet’s own bed since familiar items will help them settle into the space.
No they are not permitted in the bedrooms or bathrooms, we have fixed stair gates in our cottages with a first floor to help prevent furry friends from roaming upstairs.
No, all our cottages permit dogs. We do an especially thorough clean after dogs have stayed to ensure there are no signs of previous pet stays. If you are making a late booking you can call the office on 01482 888111 and we can advise when dogs were last in the cottage.
Yes, we charge a fee of £30 per dog in most of our cottages but for High Barn and Cart House it is £40 due to the properties’ larger size. If you're booking multiple cottages, you'll need to pay the fee for each cottage that your dog will visit.
There's a maximum of two dogs per booking for online reservations, but do get in touch if you have three very small dogs.
